Home base

Franklin itself

Our yard sits right on Bridge Street in downtown Franklin's River District, a block off Historic Main Street and the Harpeth River, and this is still where most of our work happens. From the tight in-town lots around the historic downtown core, out through the newer subdivisions on Franklin's growing edges, and into the horse-farm country toward the county's rural fringe, we have put containers on just about every kind of lot this county has.

If the container has to sit on a public street or sidewalk rather than your own driveway or yard, the City of Franklin requires a Commercial Dumpster Permit from the City of Franklin Streets Department — a $100 fee plus a $1,000 surety bond, good for up to 30 days, with the application available through the City's permit process. Private property itself is unregulated. Outside Franklin's own city limits, every other incorporated town in our service area handles its own placement permits through its own town hall, unincorporated parts of Williamson County have no documented dumpster-specific process on record, and Nashville–Davidson County neighborhoods fall under Metro Nashville Public Works instead. Confirm the current fee and process directly with whichever office applies, and allow lead time before you plan a same-day drop. Prohibited items follow TDEC guidance statewide, and Williamson County — Williamson Recycles is the resource we point customers to for the categories a roll-off legally cannot take: paints, fuels, chemicals, batteries and tires.

FAQs

Service area questions

Do you charge more for towns further from Franklin?

Our flat rate already accounts for the run, and every town on this page is inside our normal radius so you are not paying a distance surcharge. If you are outside the listed area, call (629) 245-5054 and we will tell you straight away whether we can serve you and what it would cost.

My town is not listed — can you still deliver?

Often, yes. The list covers where we run regularly across Williamson County and the surrounding area, but we stretch beyond it for the right job. One phone call settles it.

Do permit rules change from town to town?

Private-property placement itself does not change — a driveway, yard or lot never needs a permit anywhere we deliver. What changes is who issues a permit for the public way, and it genuinely varies across this service area. Inside the City of Franklin itself, that is the City of Franklin Streets Department under its Commercial Dumpster Permit. In unincorporated parts of Williamson County, there is no documented dumpster-specific process on record — call the county Highway Department to confirm. In every other incorporated town we serve, it is that town's own public works or building department, and inside Nashville–Davidson County neighborhoods it is Metro Nashville Public Works. Always check with the specific office for the town you are actually in.

Can you deliver to multiple addresses for one project?

Yes — property managers, realtors and contractors do this regularly. Tell us the addresses and the sequence you want them served and we will schedule the run. Certificates of insurance for multiple sites are no problem.
